Farmacy Beauty – Sleep Tight Balm, Review

I received this balm in one of my recent Pop Sugar Must Have boxes, and was instantly taken in with the packaging.  Quite honestly that’s me in a nutshell, get some cutsie packaging and I’m good to purchase, yes I am a marketers dream!

I was running low on my regular nighttime moisturizer so I thought I would put this one in place of it for a month an give it a real try, figuring that would be  about how long it took to make it through the jar, let’s just say that was about two months ago now and I’m only halfway through.  A little goes a long way.

I went out to their website and the brand claims this balm helps by, “Reinforcing the skinโ€™s natural moisture content, this balm aids firmness and tone while helping to restore elasticity and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.”

After surfing their site for a bit I realized this is a relatively new company that is working into the agribeauty market,  their motto (Below) sounds great and has the potential to really blow up!

Unique farm-grown botanicals define Farmacy beauty, which fuses age-old wisdom with cutting-edge technologies to create irritant-free bioactive formulations for fresh, radiant skin.

Now down to the nitty gritty!  Did it work?

I have to tell you a product has to really do some business, to lessen my fine lines and wrinkles (they’re pretty set), as far as moisturizer, tone and radiance – I do have to say my skin looks great at the moment, is it just form that or a great beauty regimen? Probably a combination of both. Personally I liked the idea of a balm for bed, it turns into this really nice oil that glides onto the skin well, and as I said above, a little goes a long way.  When I wake up in the morning, my skin feels nice and soft regardless of any retinol or acid treatment I may have done the night before, and I haven’t had any adverse reactions to any of ingredients at all (which is rare for me).

I might consider buying this product again price wise, it’s well within my “evening moisturizer” budget, it definitely keeps me hydrated and bright, all in all it was a good addition to my routine. (Funny when I thought about writing this post, I really thought it was going to go the other way – interesting how when you put it down on “paper” how your mind might change)

Here’s the details:

Sleep Tight Firming Night balm $48 on their website can also be purchased at Sephora.

Final Thoughts – if you’re not looking for the miracle night time wrinkle cream and are interested in natural products, with a new sciencey type of feel, or one that gives you great overnight moisture, and tone.  This product is definatley for you.
