Hydrating Mask – Glam Glow Thirsty Mud

Do you have those weekends where maybe you weren’t as on top of your skin care as you’d like to be? You know the ones, where maybe you had a little too much sun, a little too much drink and maybe you relied a little too heavily on makeup removing wipes instead of your full evening routine?  does this sound familiar to anyone?

I have weekends like this a few times a year, no matter how hard I try sometimes I’m just not on top of it and my sensitive skin tends to suffer.  This weekend it wasn’t so much drinking as too much sun, and too much salt.  As I’m putting my makeup on this morning I’m realizing on top of being puffy, my skin is a little patchy and dry.

Enter my favorite hydrating mask – Glam Glow’s Thirsty Mud.  Once I finish with my evening serum tonight, I’ll put this on instead of my normal moisturizer, and leave it on overnight. Yes I did say overnight.  I’ve never really found any difference if I leave it on for the recommended time, but I got the suggestion either on Pinterest or Sephora’s Q&A and it’s been a lifesaver.  I even put this on my hubby and it does wonders for his wind and sunburnt skin.  A little goes a long way with this product, an I personally think it smells a little like play dough so there’s a bit of nostalgia when I put this mask on.

I use this once a week regularly – usually the day or two after a good peel, but when I’m extra dry, I’ve been known to toss this on everyother day.
