Curvy Girl Style – January Ipsy Bag

I signed up for Ipsy – late last year, if you’ve not heard of them before here is some information. This is my second glam bag deliverey, I’m not sure if it’s something I will keep, I thought I would give it about 6 months and decide if I can’t live without the subscription. I’m actually in the process of comparing between Ipsy and Birchbox but I just got off of the Birchbox wait list and haven’t had the opportunity to do a real side by side compare. Hopefully next month.

1. The Porefessional – By Benefit $30 I love this primer! I can’t say enough good things about it, it goes on smooth it makes my foundation look spectacular and it reduces the look of my pores where I need it to. It’s a little pricey but a full size bottle will last you almost 3 months!

2. Mojito Lip-balm – by Malin+Goetz $12 – I spoke about this last week in my Friday faves – It goes in the purse every morning and by my bed at night – I’ve been a Burt’s Bees girl for a few years now but this is the best – glossy balm I’ve found so far – it goes very nicely over a lip stain or color to give it a little more oomph without the heavy/sticky feeling a true gloss leaves behind.

3. Balm me up- by Balanced Guru $45 I haven’t really given this body balm a fair shot and after I found out the price tag I’m thinking this thing should make me look like Marilyn Monroe – I dont’ know it smells nice but I don’t think I’ll miss it when it’s gone

4. Foundation – By – Yaby – $14 – OK I’ll admit I gave this one to my daughter and didn’t bother to test it – I don’t feel bad about it either – No new foundation!

5. Absolute! Make up removing wipes by Nicka K– $5 these were ok – kinda dry and there were only five in the tester so, it’s hard to say if they were really bad or if I just got a bad batch

And of course the handy dandy make-up bag – I wasn’t really impressed with the bag this month either but I’m using it to hold my hair ties and that works just fine.

Do you have an Ipsy subscription? what do you think?
