Lazy Sunday

I have to admit I am one of those people that considers my 3 major accomplishments of Sunday – Going to Church, Going to the grocery store and getting my clothes ready for the week. I’ve come to terms and accepted today for what it is – my one day off! Between the hustle of work and the constant bustle of the girls and their activities I just don’t have any other down time and realized recently that using today for that -IS OK. My girls wander into the room, and ask me what’s going on? what plans are being made? I smile and tell them nothing, they leave the room with dissatisfaction and head off to the TV room to rot out the afternoon. My husband is on some tangent in the garage, I can hear him arguing with some inanimate object even as I type this, he’s decided to replace the springs on the garage door opener and has banned us from the garage until it’s complete – shame the laundry won’t be done for a while πŸ™‚ All of this goes on while I sit quietly on my bed reading, watching a few youtube video I’ve been meaning to catch up on and pondering what outfits need to be put together for the week.

today my youngest came to “hang out” and rest for a little while too, I love this time and look forward to it each week more and more.

I have to say that only one of my accomplishments are done so far today but I do have my grocery list started and I’ve got a few outfit ideas together for the week, well it’s a start.
